It’s here!! Last year, thanks to our Ask a Mortician viewers we were able to donate funds to other nonprofit organizations addressing specific death related issues within their communities, which we are continuing to do this year.. Since 2019 is our Year of Ambition we wanted to do even more, so throughout the year we will partnering with artists to release Limited Edition merch. A portion of the proceeds raised from each sale with go to a different nonprofit organization.

First up, Santa Muerte: Loved For Exactly Who I Am, to benefit Trans Lifeline @translifeline

Folk saint Santa Muerte serves as guardian and protector of her followers who she loves fiercely and unconditionally. For this reason the Bony Lady has become an unofficial patron saint of LGBTQ persons.

Trans Lifeline is a national trans-led organization dedicated to improving the quality of trans lives by responding to the critical needs of our community with direct service, material support, advocacy, and education. Our vision is to fight the epidemic of trans suicide and improve overall life-outcomes of trans people by facilitating justice-oriented, collective community aid. (From the Trans Lifeline website)

About the Artist: Sonia is an illustrator from small and tropical El Salvador and graduated from Graphic Design. She started drawing as a way to express herself and as a form of therapy. She start sharing her work on social media and eventually created her own brand where she sells her work, as well as different types of illustrated products. Her themes revolve around the concept of magic, feminism, diversity and queer representation. She has participated in projects and exhibitions in El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia, United States,  Spain, Greece, Ukraine and Dubai.
